Exchange (ENX Portal)

The ENX Portal serves as a key part of TISAX. As a result, it ensures that the right people can see the correct information, while sensitive details stay protected.

What Appears on the Exchange (ENX Portal)

Once an ENX‑approved audit provider completes the assessment, they upload the results to the portal. As a result, the following details typically appear:

  • The audit provider confirms the assessment is complete
  • The audit provider awards TISAX labels
  • The provider includes high-level summaries of the audit outcome
  • The provider may include more detailed audit information, if granted permission

Nothing is shared automatically with everyone. As such, the assessed organisation always maintains control. Moreover, this process ensures data security at every step.

Understanding Assessment Levels (AL)

Every TISAX assessment uses a defined Assessment Level (AL). Because of this, the level shows how detailed the audit was and how much trust partners can place in the result.

  • AL1 – A basic self‑check used only inside the organisation. AL1 results are not used in TISAX and are not shared on the ENX Portal.
  • AL2 – Organisations choose this level when information has high protection needs. Auditors review evidence, check the self‑assessment, and hold interviews, usually remotely.
  • AL3 – Organisations select this level for very sensitive information. Auditors carry out detailed checks, including on-site visits or video-supported inspections.

Only AL2 and AL3 results appear in the Exchange (ENX Portal). Additionally, a higher AL means a deeper audit and greater confidence for OEMs and suppliers. As a result, both organisations and suppliers benefit from increased transparency.

Sharing Results Safely

After the assessment, the organisation chooses how to share its results. Through the ENX Portal, they can:

  • Share results with specific OEMs or suppliers
  • Set how much detail each partner can view
  • Publish basic TISAX status so other participants can see their labels.

Sharing can range from simple confirmation of TISAX labels to more detailed audit summaries. However, the organisation shares full audit detail only when necessary and upon approval. Consequently, sensitive data receives extra protection.

Once the organisation shares information, the action cannot be reversed. Therefore, this approach ensures trust across the automotive supply chain and avoids confusion or version changes. In addition, it encourages careful decision-making.

What Organisations Receive

Using the ENX Portal, organisations manage:

  • TISAX labels and their validity
  • Audit reports and summaries
  • Evidence linked to the assessment
  • Closure actions for any audit findings

The portal keeps TISAX results available for 3 years, so partners gain long‑term confidence. If organisations want to keep their labels, they must complete the assessment process again. Thus, the system maintains high standards over time.

Why the ENX Portal Matters

The ENX Portal provides transparency without risking sensitive information. In fact, everyone uses the same system, the same rules, and the same assessment results. As a consequence, this approach reduces repeat audits, saves time, and ensures that suppliers across the automotive industry are assessed consistently.

In short, organisations share trust safely, clearly, and fairly without losing control. Ultimately, all parties benefit from this structure.
