TISAX Assessment Process

TISAX Consultancy Services for Automotive Manufacturers and Suppliers

The TISAX assessment process is a structured approach that companies must follow to achieve compliance with the TISAX® standards. This process is facilitated through the ENX portal. It involves several stages. Each stage requires specific actions from the company and the certification body.

Stage 1 – Registration Process on the ENX Portal:

The first step for any company seeking the Tisax assessment process is to register on the ENX portal. This portal serves as the central platform for all TISAX®-related activities, including assessment orders, scope registration, and certification body selection.

Stage 2 – Company: Requests quote:

Once registered, the company must request a quote for the assessment. This involves providing preliminary information about the company’s scope and requirements for the TISAX® assessment process.

Stage 3 – Certification Body:

Confirmation request if Scope ID is registered and matches to assessment request: The certification body will then confirm if the provided Scope ID is registered on the ENX portal. They will also check if it matches the assessment request. This step ensures that there are no discrepancies between the company’s provided information and the registered details in the Tisax assessment process.

Stage 4 – ENX:

Confirms scope with metadata and Provider requests additional details from participant (optional): ENX will confirm the scope of the assessment with metadata. Additionally, the provider may request further details from the participant, although this step is optional in the Tisax assessment process.

Stage 5 – Company:

Provides details necessary to provide the quote and Provider prepares the quote: The company must provide all necessary details required for the provider to prepare an accurate quote. This may include detailed information about the company’s IT infrastructure, data handling practices, and security measures, which are crucial for the Tisax assessment process.

Stage 6 – Company: Certification Body selection:

After receiving quotes, the company selects a certification body that will conduct the TISAX® assessment process. This selection should be based on factors such as expertise, cost, and availability.

Stage 7 – Certification Body: Process the order – Company:

Confirms order: The chosen certification body will process the order for the TISAX® assessment process. The company must confirm this order to proceed with the assessment process. Once confirmed, both parties will work together to schedule and plan for the assessment according to TISAX® standards.

The above TISAX certification process may change over time.
